WHO WE ARE

Specifically the BGT is comprised of ordinary people who have been radically transformed by Jesus Christ. Our hearts are consumed with zeal and Holy fire for The Lord. We believe that Love in action is what He has called us to.

We believe the Book of Acts is the blueprint for the Church and Missions, and thus we are primarily a Church Planting team, focusing on the birth of new Churches and the strengthening of Churches in the Greater Boston Area.

Since the Church is a body of people, our focus is on people.

Since it’s the body of Christ, our philosophy isn’t based around man’s logic, buildings or tradition, but simply on The Holy Spirit.

Jesus said “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” - Luke 4:18 - We believe that anything other than a move of The Holy Spirit in regards to Church is vain, and we live our lives dependent on and in expectance of a move of God.

Everything we do in community can be summarized primarily in one word, “Love” - It can be expounded upon with these scriptures we hold fundamental to our mission from Acts:

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” - Acts 2:42-47
